Character Backdrop Terms and Conditions

 

• Permission should be sought by you the client from the venue as to the suitability of hired item(s). Most venues will require to see Insurance documents, and these are available upon request.

• We will deliver and set up at the time specified on the booking form. The Character Backdrops are the responsibility of the Client from set-up time until collection.

• The client should allow 45 minutes for set-up of the backdrop. Please inform It’s In The Party Bag if this time is not going to be available.

• Items should be left in place and should not be removed without permission from It’s In The Party Bag. Failure to do so may result in charges for loss or damage. Should items be used outside then permission is given for these to be moved should it rain or become windy.

• Nothing should be attached to the Character Backdrops without permission from It’s In The Party Bag.

• Balloon clips are available from It’s In The Party Bag if you wish to attach your own balloons. These are the only clips that should be used.

• Balloons that come with the package belong to the client. We will remove these at the end of the event and is the responsibility for the client to dispose of.

• Care is taken when balloons are in transit and during set-up but Balloons can become temperamental with certain weather conditions such as cold weather or extreme heat and therefore is beyond our control should they become damaged.

• We ask for no food or drinks to be placed on the lights. That they are for decorative effect only and are not to be touched or climbed and are for Indoor use only unless prior agreement is sought from It’s In The Party Bag

• It’s In The Party Bag do not take responsibility for any cakes placed on the cake stand and is the full responsibility of the client at all times.

• If you wish to make any changes to your booking then these must be put in writing by either post or email to hannah@itsinthepartybag.co.uk. We will make every attempt to meet your requirements where possible but with no guarantee or liability on our part to meet any more than the original order requested.

• Cancellation of the Character Backdrop must be in writing either by post or email to hannah@itsinthepartybag.co.uk.

• Cancellation costs are: 6 Weeks and Over: Deposit Only 6 to 4 Weeks: 50% of Order (Includes Deposit) 4 Weeks and Under: Full Payment

• In no circumstances shall our liability to you exceed the value of the contract. It’s in the Party Bag shall not be liable in respect of damages/injury/loss or any other damage incurred in respect of any default or damage to item(s) the Client shall satisfy themselves of the suitability/condition/placement of the hired item(s) upon receipt.

• It’s In The Party Bag reserve the right to take photographs of the Character Backdrops and use them for marketing purposes. Any photographs we use will not be published until after your event.
